OK… so with the return on www.leavingheretostay.nl I thought it would be nice to stream the first song of the album. Basically it’s the same track as before but I’ve mixed this one differently and added some small changes here and there. What you will notice in the end of the song. Vocals and acoustic guitar were recorded live last July. So you could say “this is it, the track is done”. But truth to tell is that it’s not… at least I think it is. It’s a good demo… so I guess I’m gonna spend some time over this in the near future. For now… here it is.
I wrote this somewhere last July. It’s about the things you experience when you leave someone or someone leaves you. And what happens the first week. I think that that is definitely “Leaving Here To Stay” for me. You leave to stay. You gather a bunch of nice memories and eventually move on.
At least that’s how I did it in the past.I also think this “album” is going to be a nice runner up to the first E.P. I made almost 2 years ago. This is about desire… but more in a balanced place. Which the first one somehow lacked.
Well… I’m off to work on the other tracks. Bye!

MIX-TAPE…
I made this mix-tape today of my favorite Beatles songs. Although I’ve burned it on a CD… it’s a mix-tape. Just love that expression… MIX-TAPE!
Anyways, got a job interview tomorrow which is really cool, maybe aimed a bit high… but fuck it. So I’m prepping for that while giving the Beatles a good spin. I’ve also completed Leaving Here To Stay (the song that is), which I will stream here some time soon. First I’ve got to listen to it a few times to know if it’s right there where it supposed to be. OMG… Drive my car… sorry off topic. But I love that song. One of the nice things of a mix-tape. It’s full of surprises. Anyways… got work to do and places to go to. Bye!

Justice!
It’s mixed… finally! Recorded most of the vocals as a try out to see if it fits. But I’m not that reassured about the vocals/lyrics at the moment. So I’ve send it to the judge! Waiting on feedback now…
The guitars are full on in this one. So opposite of some of the other tracks. It’s the 4th track recorded now so it’s beginning to sound a bit like a mix-tape… check below video for some samples. Some you might know, and some you might not know. Anyways the tracks I’ve already did sound so much better now. A much fuller sound which is nice… a big difference with the previous takes/tapes. See ya’ll soon!
